Tired of feeling lost in the EHCP maze?
Ready to become your child's most effective advocate?
I learnt so much and the most valuable thing I gained was confidence and a bit more fight in me! It is also easier to learn from a live event (or replay) listening to people talk, than reading information online or in books.
Who is this for?
Parents and carers of neurodivergent children at any stage of the EHCP process - whether you're just starting out or knee-deep in appeal paperwork.
The Workshop is a no-nonsense 30 minutes packed to bursting with insider tips for EHCP success, delivered by Heidi Mavir, Founder of EOTAS Matters™ and EHCP Matters™ and author of Sunday Times Bestseller, "Your Child Is Not Broken".
Heidi Mavir (SHE/THEY) is an AuDHD public speaker, advocate, Sunday Times Best Selling author and parent to an autistic/adhd teenager. She is also a chronic oversharer and a bit of a bad ass.
A trained Mental Health First Aider and CPD Accredited Trauma-Informed Professional, Heidi uses her knowledge, learning and experience to help other parents and carers to become powerful advocates for their neurodivergent kids. She has built an online community of over 10,000 families, supported by parent professionals and SEN advocates who want to improve opportunities for neurodivergent learners.
Heidi has spoken on stages across the UK, and has been featured in The Sunday Times, The Guardian and on BBC National News.
Heidi loves giraffes and will delight you with "giraf-facts" given the opportunity. Her small pleasures are listening to Dolly Parton's music, Yorkshire Tea and her leopard print sofa, which cost more than her car. She wishes all dresses had pockets.
It was really informative in a really easy to understand format which Heidi is amazing at delivering. I've been on this journey for many years and it has finally helped me to see things much clearer. It was also very manageable because of the length and not too overwhelming.
