How It Started

I'm Heidi. I am a Sunday Times Bestselling Author, 6 Figujre Business Owner, Late-Identified AuDHDer and Professional Gobshite.

Over the last ten years, whilst growing my businesses, I accessed various business memberships. None of them felt qute right and I found myself growing increasingly frustrated at how so many of them didn't feel safe for me as a neurodivergent entrepreneur.

Here's what really grinds my gears in online business spaces:

  • A lack of understanding of my neurodivergent processing.

  • Trainings without replays, transcripts, or subtitles.

  • "Just do it" messaging that doesn't allow for my demand avoidance.

  • Hours and hours of content without breaks for my nervous system.

  • Being told to "check your mindset" when I just needed someone to acknowledge this shit is hard sometimes.

  • Feeling shame around not keeping up or not feeling confident to ask for accommodations

It don't think it has to be that way.

So, I put together an online Summit and over three days in November 2025, 200 neurodivergent business owners came together.

We learned. We connected. We laughed until our cheeks ached.

And for a lot of us - for the first time - building a business didn't feel quite so lonely.

And BRILLIANTLY WIRED was born

The Brilliantly Wired Membership is

Our online community for neurodivergent business owners who are done with masking and trying to squeeze into boxes marked “professional expectations”

In Brilliantly Wired you can show up exactly as you are - executive dysfunction, capacity fluctuations, and all - and get support to help you build a business that works for you.

This is a place where you won't have to explain: Rejection Sensitivity, Demand Avoidance, Overwhelm, Burnout, Executive Dysfunction. Lack of spoons or any other quirk of neurodivergence.

We have a shared vocabulary already. And those who join us who don't? We'll take the time to bring them up to speed.

This is what I want you to know:

  • You are not broken.
  • Being neurodivergent doesn't mean that your business is destined to fail.
  • You are allowed to be supported in a way that works for your neurotype.

Permission to Do Business Differently

Brillaintly Wired a community that celebrates your unique way of working. Where taking a week off because your brain needs it isn't failure—it's good business. Where rest isn’t considered a luxury (it’s a necessity) and where you can test and play, change when something doesn't work, and build your business on your own terms.

We are anti-hustle culture here.
We acknowledge that capacity fluctuates.
We know executive function challenges are real.
And we're committed to creating a space where being neurodivergent in business doesn't have to feel so incredibly lonely.

Our Community Mottos

"I'm Not The Boss Of You"
We'll share what works. We'll show you successful strategies from ND business owners and experts. But we'll never tell you that you HAVE to do anything. Your business, your choices.

"Done Is Better Than Perfect"
We allow ourselves (and each other) to make mistakes. Because perfectionism is something many ND folks find stifling—and we're not about that life.

"The Rules Are, There Ain't No Rules"
Your business, on your terms. If you need a gentle (consensual) bum kick, we can do that. But we'll never tell you one size fits all. No cookie-cutter business training here—we are demand-avoidance friendly.

What We Stand For

We Did A Swanky Business Exercise and Identified Our Values As....

Trauma-Informed: As neurodivergent adults, we recognise the impact of living in a world not built for us, under systems that work against us. Our trauma-informed approach is central to the work we do.

Inclusive: We are committed to creating brave, welcoming spaces for everyone, free from discrimination. We strive to foster a sense of belonging, honouring lived experiences, making room for listening, and working together for a more equitable business environment.

Tenacious: We value the resilience, courage, and strength of neurodivergent business owners. Our work is powered by their persistence, and we are dedicated to supporting them in their journey.

Your Host, Heidi Mavir...

I've been in business for over 25 years, one of those "serial entrepreneurs" who figured out early on that being employed wasn't in the cards. I've always known I had valuable skills to offer... I just had to build the kind of business where I didn't have to abandon myself to get paid. When people ask me why I started my own business, I joke it's because I'm "unmanageable and unemployable".

As a neurodivergent business owner, I've spent most of my career side-eying the "traditional" business world. It felt stuffy, stifling, and built for brains that didn't work like mine. So I made it my mission to do things differently, and to share what I learned along the way.

In the last two years, I've coached and supported over 400 neurodivergent business owners. I've built a thriving membership for Neurodivergent Parents and Carers. I've even written a Sunday Times bestselling book.

And through it all? I've wrestled with audience growth. I've felt lonely. I've hit burnout. I've lost access to my social media. I've learned a LOAD of stuff. I've built a network of neurodivergent-affirming professionals. AND I've grown a successful business.

Brilliantly Wired is my way of passing some of that learning on and sharing my network with you. If you've been trying to build an audience, felt frustrated with that lack of neurodivergent-affirming business support and you want to be in community with like-minded business owners, you're in the right place.
